for the Week Ending 11/28
11/29/2021 - By LGS Staff
The staff writers at LetsGoSharks.com submit their league rankings each week, and we average submissions for each team. Here are the LGS NHL Power Rankings for this week:

Rank Rank Last Week Team Record Last 10 The Skinny
1 2 14-4-3 4-4-2 A victim of the Kraken??? Yet they move back into the top spot.
2 1 15-4-1 6-3-1 They reach the top then promptly lose to the Sharks and Kraken. So much for dominating sea life.
3 5 14-3-5 8-1-1 Let's be honest: the most compelling part of Washington is watching Ovechkin mount his assault on Gretzky. As long as the Caps stay competitive, he has a shot.
4 3 15-5-0 6-4-0 Who's better? McDavid or Draisatl? Can they share the Hart?
5 4 16-6-1 8-2-0 Already planning the parade route in Toronto.
6 6 14-6-1 6-3-1 Consistency keep the Wild in the 6 spot.
7 7 12-4-5 5-3-2 Turns out Coach Sutter still knows hockey. The real test starts soon though as the Flames hit the meat of their schedule.
8 10 12-5-3 7-2-1 No point and no Kucherov? TB upping the difficulty level to 'insane level' as they go for the 3-peat.
9 8 13-4-3 7-2-1 And just like a New York team is suddenly relevant. 7 wins in 8 games will do that.
10 12 11-7-3 3-5-2 The Blues didn;t have a great week but everyone around them struggled.
11 9 10-7-4 4-4-2 Hard to win when you don't score any goals! That offense needs to wake up.
12 20 11-6-1 7-2-1 Kadri hot + MacKinnon coming back= nice times
13 13 12-9-0 6-4-0 A pair of losses keeps them from contiuing their climb up the rankings.
14 11 11-8-3 7-3-0 Losers of 4 of their last 5 drop the Ducks 3 spots.
15 19 12-7-0 6-4-0 Three big wins vault the jackets up 4 spots.
16 14 11-9-1 5-4-1 Nashville falls for the second consecutive week.
17 17 11-7-0 6-4-0 Rumbling and grumbling in Beantown. Has the decline started in earnest?
18 16 9-6-4 5-3-2 Devils keeping afloat even without Jack Hughes. Next up: The Sharks
19 21 10-7-4 6-4-0 Everyone is still waiting to see if the Penguins are for real or not.
20 24 11-9-1 5-5-0 3-1 week, including a takedown of Carolina. Not too bad.
21 22 10-9-3 5-4-1 A pair of wins means up one spot.
22 18 9-8-3 5-3-2 Lose to the Coyotes, pay the price.
23 25 10-7-2 7-3-0 Three wins bump the Stars up the rankings.
24 15 8-8-4 2-6-2 The Flyers lose 6 straight an fall 9 spots in the rankings.
25 26 8-10-3 3-6-1 Five games in a 7 day span netted the Sabres a single win.
26 23 5-10-2 2-8-0 Games suspended for COVID outbreak. Just where were those guys celebrating after their long road trip?
27 30 6-15-2 3-5-2 GM Marc Bergevin placed on waivers
28 28 7-11-2 6-4-0 The Hawks started to heat up, but a pair of loses keep them at 28.
29 27 6-14-2 1-8-1 Anybody here have Marc Bergevin's cell number? But please keep him away from the draft table.
30 29 4-14-1 1-9-0 Ottawa: All those players from the Sharks, and they're in last place.
31 31 7-13-1 3-7-0 Three wins in 4 games, including a victory over the Panthers should have been kinder to the Krak.
32 32 4-15-2 4-5-1 Still lost in the desert.
