Is the Sharks Defenseman dating Tiger's
Ex?
I feel like a teenage girl even sharing this
latest crumb of scandalous fare, but it's the summer, and Doug Wilson has done
little over the last few weeks to garner any attention of his club. So here it
is. Sharks defenseman Douglas Murray is allegedly dating the former Mrs. Tiger
Woods, Elin Nordegren. That is according to
Expressen.com.
The Swedish TMZ wannabe
site posted an article on Monday claiming that Nordegren and Murray were seen
cavorting about Stockholm, whooping it up at the Rose Nightclub.
Scandalous? No.
Then again, it's been a slow month for anything related
to the Sharks outside of Sebastien Stalberg playing tourist throught he streets
of San Francisco.
This of course, could be the highlight of Murray's
career.
Murray denies any intimate relationship with Nordegren, saying
only that he and Nordegren are, "just friends."
We were hoping for
something more on the lines of, "I'm taking care of business…something
Tiger didn't care to do." Alas, Murray took the high road, like most cornered
celebrities and preserved the honor of his fair maiden.
The couple was
also reported to have been spotted dining together in early July.
Why,
pray tell, wasn't Murray in the gym or at the rink, working on improving his
lackluster 2011-12 season? Inquiring minds want to know. The co-inventor of the
Uber Tap may want to really focus on his skating,
which has been his Achilles Heel on the ice.
Perhaps he could complete the hook up with Nordegren,
cheat on her, then have her chase him around the rink wielding a golf club? If
that doesn't get his skates moving, nothing will.
Jesper Parnavik
supposedly hooked the two up, which may not play out all that well for Murray.
It was Parnevik that introduced Nordegren to Woods, and we all know how that
ended.
If anything, she can give Murray a few tips on how to deal with
the likes of George Parros and other NHL pugilists.
