| A very good skater
with a smooth stride and good acceleration ... he turns and pivots well ... he
is smart and has a good understanding of the game ... handles the puck well,
has the savvy and skills to rush it ... usually makes a good first pass and
makes good plays coming out of his own end ... his positional play in defensive
end is good ... he has an accurate shot from the point where he is most
effective on power plays ... has the know-how to angle incoming forwards away
from slot area ... uses his stick and skills to pokecheck and break up the play
at the blue line ... will definitely have to improve his intensity and physical
play in order to be effective at the next level ... voted to the QMJHL all-star
team for the Canada-Russia hockey challenge. |
