| HISTORY |
| Scott Parker was
originally drafted 63rd overall in the 1996 Entry Draft by the New Jersey
Devils. Two years later, Scott re-entered the draft and was selected 20th
overall by the Colorado Avalanche. That season, Scott made his NHL debut with
27 games and ten hits. After spending the 1999-2000 season in the AHL, Scott
returned to the NHL in 2000-01 and scored his first NHL goal on November 16
against the Coyotes' Sean Burke. He spent the entire year at the NHL level,
recording 104 hits in 69 games and helping his team win the Presidents' Trophy
with a club record 52 wins and 118 points. In the playoffs, he helped his team
win both the Clarence Campbell Bowl and the Stanley Cup. |
