Campbell started
the 2005-06 National Hockey League season with the Buffalo Sabres. During the
2004-05 NHL lockout, he played for Jokerit Helsinki in the Finnish SM-Liiga. He
helped the team finish second overall in the regular season and second (silver)
in the playoffs. In 2002-03 and 2003-04, Brian played full time at the NHL
level on the Sabres' blueline. He made his NHL debut three seasons earlier in
1999-2000. He split his first three pro seasons between the NHL and the
American League's Rochester Americans.
