Matt Bradley

Sweater #: 28
Position: Right Wing
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 200
Shoots: Right
Birthdate: June 13, 1978
Birthplace: Stittsville, Ontario, Canada
Acquired: Drafted in 1996 (4th round, 102nd overall)

HISTORY
Matt was the Sharks 4th round pick in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft after posting solid numbers in juniors at Kingston (OHL), where he was selected to the OHL All Star Game in 1998. He opened eyes during training camp with his willingness to throw his body at people. Will drop the gloves if need be. He must pay attention to details if he wants to stay on the NHL roster, because the Sharks are loaded with youth. If Dean Lombardi needs to bring in a vet at crunch time, Bradley or Mark Smith will be the first to lose ice time.

SCOUTING REPORT
Matt is a solid forward who has excelled on the defensive side of his game, which should suit head coach Darryl Sutter just fine. Not a big goal scorer, but he'll make up for it with his defense.

AWARDS and RECOGNITION
OHL All Star (1998, 1992)
